Chemical Feed Point
Rid O Rust is injected into the water line through an American Hydro feeder system immediately after the pressure tank, before iron has a chance to oxidize and precipitate.
Iron Binding
The formula binds dissolved ferrous iron in a soluble complex, preventing oxidation to ferric iron that causes visible rust stains on concrete, siding, and irrigation components.
Stain Prevention
