Apex (FMP60PSI) 60 PSI Filtamate Pressure Limiting Valve Filter Protection
Apex FMP60PSI Filtamate Pressure Limiting Valve
Precision pressure regulation at 60 PSI to protect inline filters, cartridges, and reverse osmosis membranes from damage and premature wear
Protect Your Filtration Investment
Pressure Protection
Limits incoming water pressure to a safe 60 PSI, preventing filter housing cracks, O-ring blowouts, and cartridge ruptures in inline systems
Water Hammer Reduction
Dampens pressure spikes from quick-closing valves that would otherwise stress filter housings, connections, and membrane surfaces
John Guest Speedfit
Factory-installed push-to-connect fittings for tool-free installation on 1/4" and 3/8" tubing commonly used in RO and inline filter systems
Acetyl Body Construction
Durable engineering-grade polymer resists corrosion and chemical degradation while maintaining precise pressure regulation over years of service
Application Range
The Apex FMP60PSI Filtamate pressure limiting valve works with reverse osmosis systems, inline water filter housings, ice makers, coffee machines, and refrigerator water lines. Install upstream of any filtration equipment where municipal water pressure exceeds 60 PSI or where pressure fluctuations occur. Compatible with standard 1/4" and 3/8" quick-connect tubing used in residential and light commercial water treatment applications. Suitable for Apex, GE, Whirlpool, iSpring, APEC, and other brands using John Guest or equivalent push-fit connections.
Typical Mounting Points
Before Pre-Filter
Install upstream of the first sediment filter to protect all stages including carbon blocks and the reverse osmosis membrane
Before Housing
Position directly after the supply shutoff valve and before the filter housing inlet to regulate pressure at the cartridge
Supply Line
Place in the dedicated supply line feeding ice makers, coffee equipment, or refrigerators that include integrated filtration
Prevents Housing Failure
Eliminates the most common cause of filter housing cracks and leaks
Extends Filter Life
Stable pressure reduces stress on membranes and cartridge media
No Tools Required
Push-to-connect fittings install in seconds without wrenches or clamps
Compact Profile
Fits in tight spaces under sinks and inside equipment cabinets
