Demand-Activated Operation
Demand Detection
When water flow is initiated (faucet opens or tank pressure drops), the pump senses the pressure drop and activates automatically. Built-in pressure switch engages the 120V motor without external controls.
High-Pressure Transfer
Dual-diaphragm design delivers 4.9 gallons per minute at 60 PSI, boosting storage tank output or feeding point-of-use applications. Bypass port allows for recirculation or pressure relief during operation.
Auto Shut-Down
When demand ceases and system pressure reaches 60 PSI, the pump automatically shuts off. Internal thermal protection prevents motor damage during extended run cycles or deadhead conditions.

Application Range
The Aquatec DDP 550 works with any reverse osmosis system requiring delivery pressure boost, particularly systems with storage tanks located far from dispensing points or installations with insufficient line pressure. Compatible with standard 1/4" tubing used in residential RO systems, water dispensers, coffee machines, ice makers, and refrigerator water lines. Requires separate power cord with standard 120V AC connection. Not suitable for continuous-duty applications or systems requiring more than 60 PSI operating pressure.
