How to Replace the FXWF-1000 Filter
- Shut off the water supply to your reverse osmosis system and relieve pressure by opening the faucet.
- Unscrew the filter housing using a filter wrench, remove the old carbon block filter, and clean the housing interior with warm water.
- Insert the new Filtrex FXWF-1000 filter into the housing, ensuring o-rings are seated properly, then hand-tighten the housing back onto the system.
- Turn the water supply back on slowly, check for leaks, and flush the system for 5 minutes before resuming normal use.
