These small elastomer rings prevent internal leaks and maintain proper pressure during regeneration cycles. When o-rings degrade from age or chemical exposure, they lose elasticity and compression, allowing water to bypass seals or drip externally. Replacing worn o-rings restores valve integrity without full component replacement.

This -007 o-ring is used in various positions within Fleck 5600, 5600SXT, 7000, 9000, and 9100 control valves. Consult your valve parts diagram or service manual to identify which o-ring positions require the -007 size. Common locations include piston seals, spacer seals, and certain port fittings. When to Replace

Inspect o-rings during routine valve service or whenever you disassemble a control valve for repair. Replace any o-ring that shows cracking, flattening, loss of elasticity, or visible wear. Even if an o-ring looks intact, replace it if the valve has been in service for more than five years or if you're experiencing unexplained pressure loss or minor leaks.
