Three Components That Control Regeneration
Main Piston Assembly (60102-10)
The heart of the valve. This machined piston directs water through backwash, brine draw, slow rinse, and fast rinse cycles. Worn seals on the piston cause incomplete regeneration and hard water breakthrough.
Seals & Spacers Kit (60125)
Complete set of o-rings, seals, and spacers for the valve body and piston. These prevent internal bypass, maintain pressure during regeneration, and seal all connections between the valve and tank.
Brine Valve Assembly (60032)
Controls the suction that pulls concentrated salt solution from the brine tank into the resin bed. A failing brine valve causes weak regeneration, salt bridging, and incomplete resin cleaning.
