Isopure Water (ISO-RO5) 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis System 50 GPD
The ISO-RO5 is a 5-stage reverse osmosis system built for residential under-sink installation, delivering up to 50 gallons per day of purified drinking water with up to 98% TDS rejection. It combines sediment filtration, dual carbon block stages, a thin-film composite RO membrane, and inline post-carbon polish to remove heavy metals, chlorine, fluoride, nitrates, bacteria, and dissolved solids from municipal or well water supplies.
System Details
| Model Number | ISO-RO5 |
| Production Rate | 50 gallons per day (GPD) |
| TDS Rejection Rate | Up to 98% |
| RO Unit Dimensions | 15"L × 6"D × 18"H |
| Storage Tank Dimensions | 11" diameter × 14" height |
| Unit Weight | 24.5 lbs |
| Water Pressure Range | 40 – 100 psi (minimum 40 psi required) |
| Feed Water TDS Limit | Less than 2,000 ppm |
Five-Stage Filtration Process
5 Micron Polypropylene Depth Filter
Captures dirt, sand, rust, and sediment before they reach downstream filters. Multi-layer gradient design provides high dirt-holding capacity with low pressure drop. NSF certified material.
5 Micron Coconut Shell Carbon Block
Solid carbon block delivers dense chlorine, taste, and odor removal, plus reduction of VOCs including pesticides and insecticides. No channeling, no carbon fines. NSF certified.
5 Micron Coconut Shell Carbon Block
A second carbon block stage provides final chlorine and taste removal before water reaches the membrane, protecting membrane life and ensuring maximum contaminant reduction. NSF certified.
50 GPD Thin Film Composite (TFC) Membrane
The heart of the system. This polyamide thin-film composite membrane rejects up to 98% of dissolved solids including heavy metals (lead, copper, barium, cadmium, chromium, selenium), fluoride, nitrate, nitrite, radium, and E. coli.
Inline Post-Carbon Polish
Granular coconut shell inline filter polishes the purified water as it exits the storage tank, removing any residual taste or odor that may develop during storage. NSF certified with 1/4" NPT threaded connections.
Recommended Feed Water Conditions
| Parameter | Required Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Max. TDS | < 2,000 ppm | Above this, RO efficiency drops significantly |
| Water Pressure | 40 – 100 psi | Min. 40 psi required for proper membrane operation |
| Water Temperature | 40 – 85°F (4.5 – 30°C) | Cold water reduces production rate |
| pH Range | 4 – 11 | Compatible with most municipal and well water |
Low pressure? If your feed water pressure is consistently below 50 psi, consider adding a booster pump to maintain optimal membrane performance and production rate. Pressure below 40 psi will significantly reduce output and may void membrane performance ratings.
