Getting Your Kooltek FHCW Running
- Position the unit near your water supply line and verify 120V electrical outlet access within reach of the power cord.
- Connect the 1/4" quick connect fitting from your supply line to the cooler inlet, and optionally connect the dedicated coffee maker output line using the second 1/4" quick connect.
- Install your chosen water filtration system (sold separately) according to manufacturer specifications before connecting to the cooler inlet.
- Power on the unit and monitor the filter change indicator, replacing cartridges as needed to maintain water quality and taste.
Filtration System Requirements
The Kooltek FHCW requires a separate water filtration system for operation. Compatible with most point-of-use filtration systems featuring 1/4" output connections, including carbon block filters, sediment pre-filters, and multi-stage systems rated for municipal or well water sources. Verify your filtration system can handle both the cooler demand and optional coffee maker line if using both outputs simultaneously.
