Replacement Procedure
- Shut down the injector system and relieve all pressure from the line before beginning valve replacement.
- Unthread the existing check valve from the 2" Mazzei injector suction port, ensuring the port threads are clean and free of debris.
- Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the BSPT threads of the C75R-BSPT check valve, following the taper direction.
- Thread the new check valve into the injector port hand-tight, then use a wrench to snug the connection without over-tightening the PVC fitting.
- Reconnect suction line to the check valve and pressurize the system gradually, monitoring for leaks at the valve connection point.
