Omnipure (CK5505-P) 10"x2.5" Cuno CS-453 Compatible 5 Micron Sediment & Phosphate Filter
CK5505-P Technical Details
| Dimensions | 10" length × 2.5" diameter |
| Filtration | 5 micron meltblown polypropylene with phosphate |
| Compatible With | Cuno 3M CS-453, bayonet-style heads |
| Construction | Injection-molded polypropylene |
| Certification | 100% NSF-approved materials |
| Applications | RO pre-filtration, whole-house sediment and scale control |
| Service Life | 6–12 months depending on water quality |
| Flow Direction | Outside-in radial flow |
Replacing Your CS-453 Filter
- Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening a downstream faucet or releasing the pressure relief button on the filter head.
- Rotate the old filter counterclockwise to release it from the bayonet mount, then pull straight down to remove.
- Align the CK5505-P with the bayonet grooves on the permanent head, push up firmly, and rotate clockwise until it locks into place.
- Restore water pressure slowly and check for leaks around the connection points before returning the system to full operation.
- Flush the new filter for 3–5 minutes to purge air and phosphate fines before connecting to RO or downstream equipment.
Direct Replacement for Cuno 3M CS-453
The Omnipure CK5505-P is engineered to fit any system using the Cuno Water Factory SQC bayonet-style head, including the CS-453 series. This includes reverse osmosis pre-filter stages, whole-house sediment applications, and food service installations where scale and corrosion inhibition are required. The phosphate media helps prevent mineral buildup on equipment and plumbing while the 5-micron polypropylene removes sediment, rust, and particulates that could damage downstream components or clog membranes.
