INSTALLATION & USE

Replacing Your CS-453 Filter

  1. Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening a downstream faucet or releasing the pressure relief button on the filter head.
  2. Rotate the old filter counterclockwise to release it from the bayonet mount, then pull straight down to remove.
  3. Align the CK5505-P with the bayonet grooves on the permanent head, push up firmly, and rotate clockwise until it locks into place.
  4. Restore water pressure slowly and check for leaks around the connection points before returning the system to full operation.
  5. Flush the new filter for 3–5 minutes to purge air and phosphate fines before connecting to RO or downstream equipment.
