When to Use the ST-1 Housing
The Pentek ST-1 stainless steel housing is built for commercial and industrial water filtration where high temperatures, elevated pressures, or corrosive environments would degrade standard plastic housings. It accepts most standard 10-inch by 2.5-inch diameter cartridges for sediment, carbon block, or specialty filtration, with the exception of Pentek GAC, CC, CGAC, TSGAC, WS, PCF, and PCC series cartridges. Common applications include hot water pre-filtration, food service equipment protection, boiler feed water, manufacturing process water, and any installation requiring metal construction for fire code compliance or mechanical durability. The 3/4" NPT threads provide secure connection to most commercial plumbing systems.
