Relton (PC-16) 1" Porcelain Cutter Complete Hole Saw Kit Drill Bit

Relton PC-16 Complete Drilling Kit

1" Porcelain Cutter Hole Saw Kit for Water Filter Installations

Carbide-tipped system cuts clean through porcelain surfaces and metal backing in one pass
Carbide Pilot Bit Spring-Loaded Design Complete Finish Saw Professional Grade
The Relton PC-16 delivers what undermount filter installations demand: a precision 1-inch bore through porcelain sinks without chipping the finish or binding on metal backing. This complete kit includes the carbide pilot drill, spring-loaded porcelain saw, and finish hole saw needed to drill faucet holes in coated cast iron, vitreous china, and composite porcelain surfaces commonly found in kitchen and bath installations.
HOW IT WORKS

Three-Stage Drilling System

1
PILOT

Carbide Pilot Drill (PD-42)

Carbide-tipped pilot bit initiates the bore and centers the hole saw assembly. Creates a guide channel that prevents the porcelain cutter from wandering during initial contact with the glazed surface.

2
PORCELAIN

Spring-Loaded Porcelain Saw (P-14)

Spring-loaded carbide teeth cut through the porcelain layer without cracking or chipping. The spring mechanism maintains constant, even pressure as the saw advances through varying material densities.

3
FINISH

Complete Finish Hole Saw (F-14)

Standard bi-metal hole saw completes the cut through the metal backing plate found in cast iron and composite sinks. Sized to match the porcelain cutter diameter for a clean, flush bore with no ledge or step.

COMPATIBILITY

Application Range

The Relton PC-16 1-inch kit is designed for drilling faucet and soap dispenser holes in undermount and drop-in sink installations where water filter faucets are mounted through porcelain, vitreous china, cast iron with porcelain coating, or composite porcelain surfaces. Compatible with standard 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch chuck drill motors operating at 300-600 RPM. Use with water or cutting oil as a lubricant to extend bit life and maintain clean cuts. Not recommended for tempered glass, granite, or solid surface materials.
