Compatible membranes and systems
The SV4025.1 housing accepts all standard 4.0" diameter × 25" length reverse osmosis membranes including DOW FILMTEC BW30-4040, SW30-4040, TW30-4040, and compatible elements from Hydranautics, Toray, CSM, and LG Chem. The 1/2" NPT ports integrate with commercial RO manifolds, pumps rated for 300+ PSI, and stainless steel tubing systems. External pressure design requires proper feed/permeate plumbing orientation.
Service intervals for commercial applications
Membrane Inspection
Remove U-PIN clamp and inspect O-rings, brine seal, and membrane condition. Clean or replace FILMTEC element based on flux data
Seal Replacement
Replace all Viton or EPDM O-rings and brine seal components even if no visible wear to prevent catastrophic pressure failures
Membrane Replacement
Replace FILMTEC element when normalized permeate flow drops 15% or salt rejection falls below specification despite chemical cleaning
