Air Gap vs Non-Air Gap
Non-air gap faucets feature a single line from the storage tank to the faucet, suitable for areas without air gap requirements. Air gap faucets include an empty space built into the base with three connection points: one line from the tank to the faucet, a second line from the brine water side of your RO system (1/4" OD tube to small barb), and a third drain line for brine water that connects to the drain saddle (3/8" OD tube to large barb). The VS603 is available in both configurations to meet local plumbing codes.
Installation Requirements
The Tomlinson VS603 installs in standard sink cutouts between 7/8" and 1-1/8" diameter. For stainless steel sinks, use a 7/8" knockout punch or appropriate drill bit. Porcelain and cast iron sinks require special drilling tools and may need professional installation. This faucet pairs with any reverse osmosis system using standard 1/4" tubing connections. All mounting hardware is included: rubber gasket, mounting washer, spacer, flat washer, lock washer, and mounting nut. Installation must comply with local plumbing codes. Cold water applications only.
