Aquatec - AFT Auto Flush with Timer
Auto Flush with Timer
Automated membrane flushing system that extends RO membrane life and maintains optimal TDS rejection through timed purge cycles
The Aquatec AFT uses a normally closed solenoid valve to automatically power flush your RO membrane at startup and then every hour thereafter, removing organic and inorganic contaminants that accumulate on the membrane surface. This automated maintenance process eliminates manual flushing routines while maximizing system efficiency and membrane service life.
Three-Phase Flush Sequence
Initial Power Flush
Solenoid valve opens automatically when system starts, purging any standing water and contaminants from the membrane module to drain for 15-20 seconds.
Hourly Auto Cycle
Integrated timer triggers flush valve every 60 minutes during operation, creating turbulent flow across the membrane surface to remove accumulated buildup.
Hermetic Seal
Sealed circuitry protects electronics from moisture while modular AMP Mate-N-Lok connector enables plug-and-play integration with other Aquatec system components.
AFT Series Components
| Power Requirements | 24 VAC/24 VDC, 120 mA flushing, 40 mA standby |
| Maximum Inlet Pressure | 100 psi |
| Orifice Diameter | 0.093 inches |
| Flush Cycle Duration | 15-20 seconds per cycle |
| Flush Interval | Every 60 minutes during operation |
| Standard Fittings | John Guest 1/4 inch quick-connect |
| Wetted Materials | Polypropylene, EPDM, Stainless Steel |
| Electrical Connection | AMP Mate-N-Lok modular connector |
| Flow Restrictor Options | Available with 300-800 mL integrated restrictors |
System Integration
The AFT auto flush timer is designed for residential and light commercial reverse osmosis systems operating on 24-volt power supplies. The John Guest 1/4 inch quick-connect fittings integrate directly into standard RO plumbing, while the modular AMP connector enables plug-and-play compatibility with Aquatec booster pumps, permeate pumps, and other system accessories. Compatible with all standard TFC and CTA membranes regardless of manufacturer.
