How to Install the Aries Mixed Bed DI Cartridge

- Remove the housing sump, discard old cartridge, and rinse the sump clean
- Insert the Aries AF-10-3202-BB cartridge into the housing, ensuring proper seating
- Reinstall the sump with a new o-ring if needed, then slowly restore water pressure
- Flush for 3-5 minutes before use and monitor TDS levels to determine resin exhaustion
Housing & System Requirements
The Aries AF-10-3202-BB fits all standard 10 inch Big Blue filter housings with 4.5" diameter capacity. This mixed bed DI cartridge is typically installed as a final polishing stage after reverse osmosis or carbon filtration to remove residual dissolved solids. Best results are achieved when feed water TDS is already below 50 ppm, as higher levels will exhaust the resin rapidly. Monitor effluent TDS with a meter and replace the cartridge when readings begin to rise.
