The Aries AF-10-4000-BB is designed for any Big Blue filter housing that accepts 10"x4.5" cartridges. Commonly used in Pentek, Culligan, Watts, GE, and iSpring housings with 1.5" cap threads. Best results when installed after sediment and carbon pre-filtration.
Replace when TDS readings rise
Check output regularly
Use a TDS meter to measure treated water. When output exceeds 10 ppm or doubles from baseline, the resin is exhausted and requires replacement.
300-1000 gallons
Actual capacity depends on inlet TDS and flow rate. Higher TDS source water or heavy usage will shorten resin life. Pre-filtration extends cartridge longevity.
Protect the resin bed
Always use sediment and carbon pre-filters upstream. DI resin is designed for polishing, not primary filtration, and will foul quickly without proper pre-treatment.
