COMPATIBILITY

Where This Filter Works

The AF-10-4010-BB fits all standard 10-inch Big Blue filter housings with 4.5-inch diameter capacity. It's most effective when used as a final polishing stage after reverse osmosis membranes, refining already-filtered water for applications requiring ultra-pure output: circuit board manufacturing, pharmaceutical compounding, steam generation, humidification systems, cosmetics production, cooling towers, medical laboratories, laser equipment, and boiler feed water. The mixed bed resin exchanges both cations and anions, capturing dissolved solids that RO membranes leave behind.

🔧 Monitor your TDS meter readings regularly. When output TDS starts creeping up toward 5-10 ppm above your baseline, the resin is exhausted and it's time to swap cartridges—waiting too long means you're no longer getting the purity you're paying for.
