Clack (C2252)-Clack Ret. Tank, 120 Gal 24" x 80"

Clack Corporation

Clack C2252 Retention Tank, 120 Gallon

24" x 80" polyethylene-lined fiberglass retention tank with integrated mixing baffle and top-mount IN/OUT head for simplified installation
120 Gallon Capacity 75 PSI Max Clack 1190RT Head Included 360° Drain Orientation

The Clack C2252 retention tank is engineered for chemical feed and brine mixing applications where corrosion resistance and reliable mixing are critical. With all plumbing connections at the top and a full 1" blow-down drain at the lowest point, installation and maintenance are straightforward in tight mechanical rooms.

HOW IT WORKS

Chemical Retention and Mixing Process

1
INLET

Top-Mount Entry

Water and chemical enter through the Clack 1190RT head at the top of the tank. The included 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" PVC solvent fitting kit and male NPT fittings provide flexible connection options for your existing plumbing.

2
MIXING

Baffle Diffusion

The internal baffle diffuser distributes incoming flow across the tank volume, promoting thorough chemical and water mixing. The black polyethylene liner resists impact and corrosion from aggressive chemicals over years of service.

3
RETENTION

Contact Time

The 120-gallon capacity provides adequate retention time for chemical reactions, chlorine contact, or brine preparation. Grey fiberglass shell with epoxy resin provides structural integrity up to 75 PSI and 120°F.

4
OUTLET

Top Exit and Drain

Treated water exits through the same 1190RT head. The full 1" bottom drain rotates 360° for alignment with your floor drain, simplifying tank cleanout and maintenance without moving the entire unit.
