Installing Your Clack Tank Felt Pad
- Depressurize and drain the mineral tank completely before removing the control valve and distributor tube assembly
- Place the N1043 felt pad directly on top of the resin bed with the felt side facing down toward the media
- Center the pad around the distributor tube before reinstalling the control valve, ensuring no gaps exist between pad and tank wall
- Reconnect the valve assembly and run a manual regeneration cycle to settle the resin and seat the felt pad properly
