Application specifications
The Clack WS1.5EE control valve (model V15EEBTZ) is designed for top-mount installation on mid-size commercial and industrial softeners, carbon filters, and media filtration tanks. The 1.5" port size accommodates flow rates suitable for schools, restaurants, car washes, light manufacturing, and multi-unit residential buildings. Post-treated water regenerant refill capability allows for efficient brine mixing using softened water. Note that brine port hardware is not included and must be ordered separately based on your specific tank and system configuration.

Backwash & Brine Draw
Controlled backwash lifts and cleans media bed, followed by downflow brining with slow rinse for thorough ion exchange regeneration
Second Backwash & Fast Rinse
Optional second backwash further cleans media, then fast rinse removes excess brine and prepares system for return to service
