Service water flows through the narrowed throat of the injector body at high velocity, creating a vacuum effect that pulls brine solution through the eductor tube.
Brine Solution Induction
The vacuum draws concentrated salt solution from the brine tank through the line and into the injector assembly, where it mixes with the incoming service water stream.
Resin Regeneration Flow
Mixed brine solution is delivered to the mineral tank at the proper concentration and flow rate for either downflow brining in 12" diameter tanks or upflow brining in 14" diameter configurations.
Valve & Tank Matching
This F Blue injector is specifically sized for Clack 1" and 1.25" control valves (WS1, WS1.25, WS1TC, WS1.25TC models) when paired with 12" diameter mineral tanks using downflow regeneration or 14" diameter tanks configured for upflow regeneration. Injector sizing is critical – using the wrong flow rate will result in insufficient brine draw or over-diluted regenerant. Verify your tank diameter and regeneration direction before ordering.
