Hanna (HI70300L) Electrode Storage Solution PH-ORP 0.46L
HI70300L Technical Details
| Model Number | HI70300L |
| Manufacturer | Hanna Instruments |
| Volume | 0.46 Liters (460 mL) |
| Solution Type | Electrode Storage Solution |
| Compatible Electrodes | pH and ORP electrodes |
| Application | Electrode maintenance and storage |
| Container Type | Laboratory-grade bottle |
| Shelf Life | Extended when sealed and stored properly |
Storage Protocol
- Remove the electrode from the meter or monitoring system after use and rinse the glass bulb gently with distilled water.
- Add several drops of HI70300L storage solution into the protective cap until approximately one-quarter full.
- Insert the electrode into the cap, ensuring the glass bulb and junction are fully submerged in the solution, and store upright in a cool location.
- Check solution level periodically and replenish as needed to maintain electrode hydration between measurements.
Electrode Compatibility
The HI70300L storage solution is compatible with all Hanna pH and ORP electrodes, as well as most third-party glass bulb electrodes that require wet storage. This solution is specifically formulated to prevent the crystallization and microbial growth that can occur with distilled water storage, while maintaining the proper ionic strength at the electrode junction. Do not substitute with tap water, distilled water, or buffer solutions for long-term storage, as these alternatives can compromise electrode performance and shorten sensor lifespan.
