Hanna Instruments

HI7031L 1413 µS/cm Conductivity Calibration Solution

500 mL bottle of precision conductivity standard for accurate meter calibration
1413 µS/cm 500 mL Bottle General Use Lab Grade
The Hanna HI7031L is a 1413 microsiemens per centimeter conductivity calibration solution designed for routine meter calibration across laboratory and field applications. This mid-range standard provides the most practical reference point for general conductivity measurements in municipal water, aquaculture, and light industrial environments.
HOW IT WORKS

Conductivity Calibration Process

1
PREPARE

Rinse Electrode

Rinse the conductivity probe with distilled or deionized water and gently blot dry with a lint-free tissue before immersing in the HI7031L solution.

2
CALIBRATE

Immerse and Stabilize

Submerge the electrode fully into the 1413 µS/cm solution and allow the reading to stabilize at ambient temperature before executing the calibration sequence on your meter.

3
VERIFY

Confirm Accuracy

After calibration, verify the meter reads 1413 µS/cm (±1%) when re-immersed in fresh solution to ensure proper calibration and electrode function.

COMPATIBILITY

Meter and Application Range

The HI7031L 1413 µS/cm solution is compatible with all Hanna portable and benchtop conductivity meters, as well as multiparameter instruments requiring EC calibration. This standard works with most major conductivity meter brands and is the preferred calibration point for drinking water, hydroponic nutrient monitoring, cooling tower management, and general aqueous solutions between 500 and 5000 µS/cm. The 500 mL bottle provides enough solution for approximately 50 calibrations when used with proper technique and poured into a clean vessel rather than dipping electrodes directly into the stock bottle.
