INSTALLATION & USE

Operating the PH-200 Meter

  1. Remove the protective cap with embedded storage solution sponge and rinse the glass electrode with distilled or deionized water before first use.
  2. Power on the meter and immerse the electrode in the sample solution or water stream. Allow 30–60 seconds for the reading to stabilize before recording.
  3. For best accuracy, calibrate using pH buffer solutions (7.0 included) via the digital auto-calibration function with fine-tuning buttons as needed.
  4. After testing, rinse the electrode with distilled water, gently blot dry, and replace the protective cap with moistened sponge to prevent electrode drying.
  5. Replace the SP-P2 sensor electrode when response time slows or readings drift despite calibration, typically after 6–12 months of regular use.
COMPATIBILITY

Recommended Applications

The HM Digital PH-200 is designed for all pH testing applications including reverse osmosis and water purification monitoring, wastewater regulation compliance, aquaculture and hydroponics nutrient management, colloidal silver production, laboratory and scientific research, swimming pool chemistry, environmental ecology studies, boiler and cooling tower treatment, coffee brewing optimization, and agricultural irrigation quality control. The IP-67 waterproof housing and floating design make it ideal for fieldwork, industrial environments, and outdoor testing where durability and portability matter. Replacement electrodes (SP-P2) and calibration buffers are available separately for long-term maintenance.

🔧 Pro tip: Always store the PH-200 with the cap on and the sponge moistened with storage solution or pH 7 buffer, never tap water. A dried-out electrode loses calibration and response speed, but can often be recovered by soaking in storage solution for 24 hours before recalibrating.
