Why Pleated Synthetic Outperforms Depth Filters
IPW pleated cartridges offer significantly more filtration surface area than wound or spun sediment filters of the same dimensions. The 100% synthetic polypropylene media contains no binders or additives that break down over time, eliminating the foaming and degradation common in cellulose-based filters. Pleated design allows for lower initial pressure drop and higher flow rates, while the washable media extends service life when rinsed at 5 micron and above. For best cleaning results, direct spray into the pleats to dislodge trapped sediment.
Standard 9.75" x 2.75" Housings
The R30 cartridge is compatible with standard 9.75" x 2.75" filter housings and replaces most brands' 30 micron pleated sediment filters in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications. Fits housings designed for 10-inch cartridges with 2.75" outer diameter specifications.
