John Guest - Acetal Stem Reducer Quick Connect Fitting - Grey
Acetal Stem Reducer Quick Connect Fitting
The John Guest Acetal Stem Reducer connects two different tubing diameters in reverse osmosis systems, beverage dispensers, and pneumatic applications without tools or threading. Acetal copolymer construction offers superior heat resistance and mechanical strength over polypropylene alternatives, with food-grade nitrile O-rings for reliable sealing in potable water and CO2 systems.
Grip and Seal Connection System
Push Tube Into Fitting
Insert tubing fully into the quick connect port until it seats against the internal stop. The collet grips the outer diameter and compresses the nitrile O-ring to form a watertight seal.
Plug Into Receiving Fitting
Push the male stem side directly into another John Guest quick connect female port. The reducer allows seamless transition between two tubing sizes in a single connection point.
Demount Without Tools
To disconnect, push the collet ring toward the fitting body while pulling the tube. No wrenches or special tools required for installation or maintenance.

Application Range
The John Guest Acetal Stem Reducer is approved for potable water, foodstuff handling, beverage CO2 lines, compressed air, inert gases, pneumatic systems, and vacuum applications. Acetal construction provides greater heat tolerance and structural integrity than polypropylene fittings, making it suitable for installations where temperature fluctuations or mechanical stress are considerations. Works with all John Guest Speedfit quick connect systems and standard OD tubing used in reverse osmosis, water filtration, and beverage dispensing equipment.
