HOW IT WORKS

Venturi Injection Process

CONSTRICTION

Pressurized Water Inlet

Water enters through the 25mm male BSPT inlet and is constricted toward the injection chamber, accelerating into a high-velocity jet stream that reduces absolute pressure.

Suction Port Draws Additive

The increase in velocity creates a vacuum at the 0.50" barbed suction port, drawing liquid or gaseous additives into the injection chamber without external pumps.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

The Mazzei 1078 series is available in green polypropylene (GRPP) for versatile, cost-effective chemical resistance to most acids and alkalis, or blue PVDF for advanced applications requiring higher pressure and temperature handling, ozone resistance, and superior resistance to sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and chlorine. PVDF offers better abrasion resistance and UV stability than polypropylene, PVC, or polyethylene. Natural PVDF is NSF 61 and FDA approved. ECTFE variants provide extreme alkaline resistance above pH 10 for demanding tank and apparatus construction.
