Mazzei MV-25A Technical Details
| Model Number | MV-25A (replaces MV-25) |
| Connection Size | .25 inch |
| Compatible Injectors | .50" and .75" Mazzei injectors |
| Material | Polypropylene |
| Connection Type | Compression fittings (no hose barbs) |
| Adjustment | Variable metering (no dial reference points) |
| Application | Chemical injection flow control |
| Chemical Resistance | Excellent (polypropylene construction) |
Metering Valve Setup
- Install the MV-25A valve inline between your chemical supply line and the Mazzei injector suction port using .25" compression fittings
- Turn the valve adjustment knob counterclockwise to open and allow chemical flow to begin
- Gradually adjust the valve while monitoring injection rates to achieve desired chemical dosing levels
- Mark your optimal setting position on the valve body for future reference since dial points are no longer included
System Requirements
The Mazzei MV-25A metering valve is designed specifically for .50 inch and .75 inch Mazzei chemical and air injectors. This valve replaces the older MV-25 model and features updated compression-style connections instead of hose barbs. The polypropylene construction ensures compatibility with most liquid fertilizers, acids, and water treatment chemicals. Note that this updated version does not include the dial reference markings found on the original MV-25, so manual position marking is recommended for repeatable dosing.
