Noshok - 510 Series - 2.5" Stainless Steel Gauge, Glycerin Fill 1/4" NPT Center Stem
Technical Details
| Model Series | Noshok 510 Series |
| Face Diameter | 2.5 inches |
| Connection | 1/4" NPT Male (Center Back Mount) |
| Pressure Range | 0-1500 PSI (multiple ranges available) |
| Construction | 304 Stainless Steel case, Brass internals and stem |
| Fill Fluid | Glycerine and water mixture |
| Temperature Range | 0-140°F |
| Lens Material | Polycarbonate with dual relief discs |
Mounting Your Gauge
- Apply thread sealant (PTFE tape or pipe dope) to the 1/4" NPT male threads on the center back stem.
- Thread the gauge into your pressure port hand-tight, then wrench-tighten an additional 1.5 turns while keeping the gauge face oriented correctly.
- Slowly pressurize the system and check for leaks at the connection point.
- Allow the gauge needle to stabilize before taking pressure readings, especially after initial installation or pressure spikes.
Application Range
The Noshok 510 Series gauge is compatible with reverse osmosis systems, booster pumps, filter housings, well systems, and any pressurized water equipment requiring 1/4" NPT pressure monitoring. The glycerin fill makes it ideal for installations with pump cycling, water hammer, or vibration from motors and compressors. The 304 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in humid environments and chemical processing applications where brass or painted steel gauges would fail prematurely.
