Omnipure - K2356 - 6" x 2" ALL KDF-55 Inline Filter 1/4" OD Quick Connect
K2356 ALL KDF-55 Inline Filter
The Omnipure K2356-JJ is built entirely with KDF-55 media, a high-purity copper-zinc formulation designed for heavy metal reduction and chlorine removal through redox reactions. The 1/4" OD quick connect fittings make installation and replacement straightforward in residential and light commercial applications.
KDF-55 Filtration Technology
KDF-55 uses a redox (oxidation-reduction) process to remove chlorine, water-soluble heavy metals like lead and mercury, and control scale buildup. The media also inhibits bacteria and algae growth through electrochemical reactions. This all-KDF configuration delivers maximum contact time for heavy metal reduction in a compact 6-inch inline format.
Filter Details
| Model | K2356-JJ |
| Dimensions | 6" L x 2" W |
| Filtration Media | 100% KDF-55 |
| Fitting Type | 1/4" FQC (Quick Connect) |
| Flow Rate | 0.5 GPM |
| Max Pressure | 125 PSIG |
| Max Temperature | 100°F |
| Micron Rating | 0.2 micron |
Installation Notes
This filter uses 1/4" FQC (female quick connect) fittings for direct integration with standard push-to-connect tubing systems. Note that 1/4" NPT fittings measure approximately 0.540" in actual outer diameter when measured with a ruler, not 0.25". The K2356 is commonly installed as a post-filter in reverse osmosis systems, inline for refrigerator lines, or as a specialty filter in point-of-use applications requiring heavy metal reduction and bacterial control.
