Where the K2556-JJ Works Best

This all-KDF-55 filter is compatible with reverse osmosis systems, refrigerator and ice maker lines, beverage dispensers, drinking fountains, and under-counter filtration setups. The 1/4" quick connect fittings work with standard FQC tubing used in most residential and light commercial water treatment equipment. KDF-55 is particularly effective for municipally treated water with chlorine and soluble heavy metals like lead, mercury, and iron. Not recommended as a primary sediment filter or for untreated well water without pre-filtration.

🔧 Pro Tip: KDF media works best in cold to moderate temperature ranges. If installed on a line that experiences warm water (above 80°F regularly), replacement frequency may need to increase to maintain optimal performance.
