Pentek - MG-CCBR - Microguard Coconut Shell Carbon Lead Cyst Filter
MG-CCBR Coconut Shell Carbon Lead Cyst Filter
The Pentek MG-CCBR combines a pleated 0.15 micron absolute membrane with coconut shell carbon block and sediment pre-filtration in a single cartridge. This triple-action design delivers microbiological safety, chemical reduction, and extended service life without adding chemicals to your water.
Three-Stage Filtration in One Cartridge
Pre-Filtration Layer
Outer sediment pre-filter captures larger particles, rust, and debris to protect the carbon block and membrane layers from premature fouling and extend overall cartridge life.
Coconut Shell Carbon Block
Activated coconut carbon reduces chlorine, chloramines, lead, VOCs, and taste and odor compounds through adsorption. Coconut shell carbon offers superior micropore structure compared to coal-based alternatives.
0.15 Micron Absolute MicroGuard Membrane
Pleated membrane provides absolute 0.15 micron retention to physically remove bacteria, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and other protozoan cysts. Achieves greater than 6 Log bacteria reduction and 4 Log cyst reduction without chemicals.
