- Pressurize the system slowly and inspect for leaks at both connection points before full operation.
System Integration
The SMC 6850090 check valve works with any standard residential or light commercial RO system requiring 1/2" FNPT connections. It is commonly installed after RO membranes to prevent backflow from the storage tank, or between filtration stages where one-way flow protection is required. The Buna-N seal is compatible with chlorinated water and typical feed water conditions. Suitable for integration with brands including APEC, iSpring, Watts, Pentair, and other systems using half-inch threaded connections.
