INSTALLATION & USE

Setup and Maintenance

  1. Turn off water supply and relieve pressure from your Big Blue housing by opening the pressure release valve
  2. Unscrew housing, remove old filter, and insert the Unicel K-40715-B with white end caps facing up and down
  3. Lubricate o-ring with silicone grease, hand-tighten housing, and slowly turn water back on to check for leaks
  4. When flow rate decreases, remove filter and spray clean with a garden hose to dislodge sediment and restore performance
  5. Replace filter when pleats are damaged or cleaning no longer restores adequate flow
