Where This Filter Excels
The UFI UP Series is built for demanding whole-house, well, and commercial filtration environments requiring sediment removal with chemical resistance. Compatible with standard 20" x 4.5" Big Blue housings, this filter handles mineral acids, organic solvents, caustic soda, zinc chloride, ferric hydroxide, plating solutions, ethyl alcohol, animal and petroleum oils, oxidizing agents, alkalis, organic acids, potable water, demineralized water, photographic solutions, and pre-membrane applications. The true depth filtration design captures particulates throughout the entire filter depth rather than just the surface, extending service life and dirt holding capacity. Available in micron ratings of 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, and 100 micron to match specific sediment loads and downstream equipment protection requirements.
