Watts (LF560B) 560 B Water Pressure Regulator 1/4" 0 - 60 PSI - Lead Free
Watts LF560B Technical Details
| Model Number | Watts LF560B (560 B Series) |
| Connection Size | 1/4" NPT female inlet and outlet |
| Pressure Range | 0 to 60 PSI adjustable outlet pressure |
| Maximum Working Pressure | 300 PSI (21 bar) inlet pressure |
| Body Material | Lead-free brass construction |
| Internal Components | Stainless steel stem and spring, Buna-N seat and diaphragm |
| Gauge Port | 1/8" female side tapping (plugged) |
| Adjustment | Heavy duty slotted and knurled screw |
How to Install the Watts 560 B Regulator
- Install the regulator in-line with flow direction matching any arrow markings on the body. Use thread sealant tape on 1/4" NPT connections to prevent leaks.
- Remove the 1/8" gauge port plug and install a pressure gauge if monitoring outlet pressure is required for your application.
- Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to increase outlet pressure or counterclockwise to decrease. Use a screwdriver in the slot or grip the knurled edge by hand for fine adjustment.
- Open downstream fixtures slowly and monitor gauge readings while adjusting to the desired outlet pressure between 0 and 60 PSI.
- Lock the adjustment in place once set. Check for leaks at all threaded connections under full system pressure before putting into service.
Ideal Applications for the 560 B
The Watts LF560B is designed for small-scale industrial process water applications, OEM equipment integration, travel trailers, RVs, and miscellaneous plumbing systems where space is limited and economical pressure control is needed. The oversized orifice design minimizes pressure drop and maintains consistent flow rates in low-demand applications. Compatible with potable water systems and suitable for use where lead-free compliance is required. The compact 1/4" footprint makes this regulator ideal for tight cabinet installations, under-sink mounting, or equipment panels where larger regulators cannot be accommodated.
