Constructed from polypropylene with integrated ferrule nut and sleeve, this fitting handles up to 50 PSI for tubing sizes 1/8" through 1/2" without additional components. NSF 61 listed for potable water applications.

Actual Measurements vs Nominal Size
NPT sizing does not match ruler measurements. A 1/4" NPT fitting measures approximately 0.540" in actual diameter, not 0.25". This is standard across the industry. Reference chart:

System Integration
Designed for reverse osmosis systems, under-sink filtration assemblies, refrigerator water lines, and inline filter installations where tubing diameter needs to transition. Compatible with soft plastic tubing including polyethylene and vinyl. Commonly used in residential RO systems to connect storage tanks, membrane housings, and filter stages with different tubing requirements. For high-pressure applications exceeding 50 PSI, add a Jaco gripper to increase pressure rating to 220 PSI.
Polypropylene offers excellent chemical resistance and long service life in potable water systems, making this Jaco fitting a reliable choice for residential and light commercial installations.
