John Guest - Acetal Male Connector Quick Connect Fitting - Grey
Male Connector Quick Connect Fitting – Grey Acetal with NPT Thread
British-engineered grip-and-seal collet fitting for potable water, air, CO2, and vacuum applications. Push-to-connect simplicity with food-grade construction.
The John Guest male connector uses a collet-and-seal arrangement that grips tubing when you push it in and seals with a food-grade nitrile O-ring. Thread the male NPT end into your valve, faucet, or appliance port, push your tube into the opposite end, and you're done. To remove: unlock the nut, push the collet toward the body, and pull the tube free. Acetal copolymer delivers superior strength and heat resistance compared to polypropylene, making it suitable for potable water, beverages, air lines, CO2 systems, pneumatics, and vacuum.
| Material | Acetal copolymer body, food-grade nitrile O-ring |
| Thread Type | National Pipe Thread (NPT) male |
| Connection | Push-to-connect collet fitting on tube end |
| Country of Origin | Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the UK |
| 1/8" NPT | Measures 0.405" actual diameter |
| 1/4" NPT | Measures 0.540" actual diameter |
| 3/8" NPT | Measures 0.675" actual diameter |
| 1/2" NPT | Measures 0.840" actual diameter |
A common mistake is assuming a 1/4" NPT thread measures 1/4" on a ruler. It does not. NPT threads measure larger than their nominal size. Match your NPT port size to the chart above.
Use John Guest acetal male connectors on reverse osmosis systems, under-sink filters, ice makers, beverage dispensers, espresso machines, refrigerator water lines, CO2 tanks for kegging and carbonation, pneumatic air lines, vacuum systems, and any application requiring a clean, leak-free connection between tubing and threaded ports. Compatible with John Guest tubing and most other push-fit tube standards. Not for use with petroleum-based fluids or aggressive solvents.
No Tools Required
Push to connect, twist to thread. Demount by unlocking the nut and pushing the collet.
Food Grade Construction
Acetal copolymer and nitrile O-ring meet food contact standards for potable water and beverages.
British Engineering
John Guest Speedfit fittings are designed, manufactured, and assembled in the UK.
Heat Resistant
Acetal offers greater temperature and strength performance than polypropylene alternatives.
