INSTALLATION & USE

How to Install the MKX-B20-RFL Filter

  1. Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening a downstream faucet
  2. Unscrew the 20" x 4.5" Big Blue housing sump and remove the old filter cartridge
  3. Insert the MKX-B20-RFL into the housing with the open end facing up, ensuring proper seating on the center post
  4. Lubricate the O-ring with clean silicone grease and hand-tighten the sump back onto the housing cap
  5. Turn water supply back on slowly and flush the filter for 3-5 minutes to remove any carbon fines before use
