Omnipure - CL10ROT28 - 10" x 2" T40 GAC Acid Washed Coconut Inline Filter
CL10ROT28 10" x 2" T40 GAC Acid Washed Coconut Inline Filter
Loose granular activated carbon from coconut shell for superior chlorine reduction and taste improvement in compact inline applications
Coconut shell carbon outperforms standard carbon media
Acid Washed Coconut GAC
Loose granular activated carbon from coconut shell offers higher micropore density than coal-based alternatives, making it more effective at capturing chlorine and organic compounds that affect taste and odor
Inline Design
The CL10ROT28 installs directly in the water line with 3/8" NPT female threads on both ends, eliminating the need for a separate housing and reducing installation footprint
Interchangeable Media
The T40 carbon bed is interchangeable with T28 and T33 configurations, allowing you to adjust filtration capacity based on your specific water quality and flow requirements
Rated for Pressure
Tested to 125 PSIG maximum working pressure and 100°F temperature, suitable for standard municipal water systems, RO pre-treatment, ice machines, and water coolers
CL10ROT28 Technical Details

Where the CL10ROT28 fits
This Omnipure inline filter is commonly used in reverse osmosis systems as a post-carbon stage, under-sink drinking water systems, ice machines, water coolers, and drinking fountains. The 3/8" NPT threads accept standard 3/8" fittings. Also interchangeable with CL10ROT40-B and CL10ROT40-C models. Note that NPT sizing does not correspond to ruler measurements: a 3/8" NPT connection measures approximately 0.675" in actual diameter.
Replacement schedule for optimal performance
Standard Replacement
Replace the CL10ROT28 filter annually under typical municipal water conditions to maintain chlorine reduction and taste quality
High Chlorine Water
If your water source has elevated chlorine levels or you notice taste degradation, reduce the replacement interval to six months
Flow Rate Decline
If flow rate drops noticeably before the 12-month mark, sediment may have loaded the carbon bed and early replacement is warranted
Coconut Shell Carbon
Superior micropore structure compared to coal-based carbon
NPT Threads
Standard national pipe thread for easy inline integration
Compact Footprint
No separate housing required for installation
Annual Replacement
12-month service life under typical conditions
