This Omnipure inline filter is designed for ice machines, water coolers, drinking fountains, under-sink filtration systems, and reverse osmosis post-filters. The 3/8" NPT female threads allow direct connection to standard water lines without adapters in most residential and light commercial installations. Note that NPT sizing does not correspond to ruler measurements—3/8" NPT actually measures approximately 0.675" in diameter when measured with calipers.
