Omnipure - K2350 - 6" x 2" GAC with 0.25 lb of KDF-55 Inline Filter
K2350 Inline Filter with KDF-55
The Omnipure K2350 combines granulated activated carbon with a quarter pound of KDF-55 media in a 6-inch inline housing. The dual-threaded design with 1/4" and 3/8" female NPT fittings provides installation flexibility across a range of under-counter filtration systems, refrigerators, and ice makers.
Two-Stage Filtration in One Inline Cartridge
Redox Media Reduction
KDF-55 copper-zinc alloy removes chlorine, soluble heavy metals like lead and mercury, and controls bacterial growth through redox reactions before water reaches the carbon bed.
Activated Carbon Polishing
Granulated activated carbon adsorbs residual chlorine, taste and odor compounds, and organic contaminants for final water quality improvement before the outlet fitting.
K2350 Technical Details
| Model Number | K2350 |
| Dimensions | 6" L x 2" W |
| Inlet/Outlet Fittings | 1/4" FPT and 3/8" FPT (both sides) |
| Flow Rate | 0.5 GPM |
| Maximum Pressure | 125 PSI |
| Maximum Temperature | 100°F |
| Filtration Media | GAC with 0.25 lb KDF-55 |
| Primary Contaminants | Chlorine, heavy metals, taste, odor, scale, bacteria, algae |
Installation Applications
The K2350 works with reverse osmosis systems, under-counter drinking water filters, refrigerator water lines, and ice maker supply lines that require inline filtration with dual NPT thread options. Both 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch female threads are present on each end, allowing direct connection to standard water tubing or male NPT fittings without adapters. Note that NPT threads measure larger than their nominal size when measured with a ruler: 1/4" NPT measures approximately 0.540 inches in actual diameter, and 3/8" NPT measures approximately 0.675 inches.
