Installing Your Slim Line Housing
- Mount the flat cap bracket securely to wall or cabinet surface, ensuring adequate clearance below for sump removal and cartridge replacement.
- Apply thread sealant tape to 1/4 inch NPT connections and thread inlet/outlet lines hand-tight, then snug with wrench to avoid over-torquing polypropylene threads.
- Insert your chosen 10-inch cartridge into the sump, lubricate the o-ring with food-grade silicone, and thread sump onto cap until hand-tight with proper seal compression.
- Open water supply slowly and inspect all connections for leaks before putting housing into full service.
