PureT - Acetal Male Connector Quick Connect Fitting - White
Acetal Male Connector Quick Connect Fitting
Material and Thread Dimensions
| Body Material | Acetal Copolymer |
| O-Ring Material | Food Grade Nitrile (NBR) |
| Thread Standard | National Pipe Thread (NPT) |
| Connection Type | Male threaded with push-to-connect collet |
| Color | White |
| Origin | Designed and manufactured in Taiwan |
Understanding National Pipe Thread Measurements
| 1/8" NPT | 0.405" actual outer diameter |
| 1/4" NPT | 0.540" actual outer diameter |
| 3/8" NPT | 0.675" actual outer diameter |
| 1/2" NPT | 0.840" actual outer diameter |
NPT sizing is nominal, not actual. A 1/4" NPT thread measures approximately 0.540" on a ruler, not 0.25". Use the table above to confirm your required size before ordering.
Push-to-Connect Operation
Insert tubing fully into the collet opening until it stops, then hand-tighten the male thread into the corresponding NPT female port. The collet grips the tubing while the nitrile O-ring seals the connection. To disconnect, loosen the threaded connection, push the collet toward the fitting body, and pull the tubing free. No tools or thread sealant required for the push-fit side.
Approved Applications
Compatible with potable water systems, RO units, refrigerator lines, beverage dispensers, air lines, CO2 systems, pneumatic equipment, and vacuum applications. Suitable for connection to faucets, toilets, appliances, and any NPT threaded port. Acetal offers superior chemical resistance and temperature tolerance compared to polypropylene fittings. Verify tubing outer diameter and NPT thread size match your application before installation.
