Where the IL-6W-C Works Best
The PureT IL-6W-C is most commonly used as the final polishing stage in reverse osmosis systems, installed after the RO membrane and storage tank to remove any residual tastes or odors. It also works as a standalone filter for ice makers, refrigerators, drinking fountains, and water coolers where improved taste and chlorine removal are needed. This filter is compatible with standard inline housings and can replace models IL-6W-C-14, IL-6W-C-EZ, IL-6W-C-38, IL-6W-C-EZ38, S7206W, and S7206W JG. Note that NPT fittings measure larger than their nominal size—1/4" NPT actually measures approximately 0.540" in diameter on a ruler.
