INSTALLATION & USE
How to Refill Your Filter Housing
- Shut off water supply and relieve pressure from the filter housing. Remove the housing sump and discard old carbon media.
- Rinse the empty housing thoroughly with clean water. Inspect o-ring and replace if worn or damaged.
- Fill housing with new coconut shell GAC to approximately 80% capacity, leaving headspace for expansion and backwash movement.
- Reinstall housing sump with hand-tight seal. Slowly turn water supply back on and check for leaks.
- Flush system for 5-10 minutes to remove carbon fines and activate the media before normal use.
