The Purolite FerrIX-A33 ArsenX NP is designed for point-of-entry (POE) and point-of-use (POU) arsenic removal systems in municipal water treatment plants, commercial facilities, and residential applications where arsenic contamination is present. It works in standard ion exchange tanks and can be configured in lead-lag or parallel setups for continuous operation and extended service life. This resin is particularly effective in areas with naturally occurring arsenic in groundwater or where legacy contamination requires targeted removal. The hybrid iron oxide formulation removes both arsenate (As-V) and arsenite (As-III) forms, making it suitable for variable feed water chemistry without pretreatment oxidation in most cases.
