- To disconnect, push the release collar toward the fitting body while pulling the tubing out.
Tubing Size Reference
AquaLock fittings connect polypropylene tubing by outside diameter to copper tube size equivalents: 3/8" OD to 1/4" CTS, 1/2" OD to 3/8" CTS, 5/8" OD to 1/2" CTS, 7/8" OD to 3/4" CTS, and 1-1/8" OD to 1" CTS. The reducing union allows you to step down from larger to smaller pipe sizes in any compatible material combination. This fitting is commonly used in reverse osmosis systems, water filtration installations, refrigerator lines, and general plumbing applications where dissimilar pipe sizes or materials need to be joined without soldering or threading.
