Watts (R14-02-1WM) R14 Series Reverse Osmosis 3600 GPD System
Watts R14-02-1WM Technical Details
| Production Capacity | 3,600 gallons per day (GPD) |
| Feed Water Connection | 1" FNPT |
| Product Water Connection | 1/2" tube |
| Reject Water Connection | 1/2" tube |
| Electrical Requirements | 230V/60Hz, 6 Amps |
| Feed Water Pressure | 10 PSIG minimum |
| Prefilter Size | 4.5" x 10" |
| Mounting Configuration | Stainless steel wall mount frame |
System Setup and Operation
- Mount the stainless steel frame securely to a vertical wall surface near feed water supply and drain lines, ensuring clearance for membrane housing access and gauge visibility.
- Connect 1" FNPT feed water line, 1/2" product water tubing, and 1/2" reject line to designated ports. Wire 230V power supply and connect low-pressure shutdown, tank level input, and pretreatment interlock as required for your application.
- Install the 4.5" x 10" prefilter cartridge, prime the system, and adjust reject recycle valve according to source water TDS and desired recovery rate using the product and reject flow meters.
- Monitor prefilter and pump discharge pressure gauges during initial operation. Verify automatic low-pressure shutdown and restart functions before placing system into continuous service.
- Replace prefilter cartridges based on pressure differential, inspect membrane housings quarterly, and test product water quality monthly to maintain optimal system performance.
Ideal Applications for the R14-02-1WM
This Watts R14 Series system is engineered for commercial and light industrial applications requiring consistent high-purity water output. Restaurants, medical offices, laboratories, food service operations, and small manufacturing facilities benefit from the 3,600 GPD capacity. The system requires a minimum 10 PSIG feed pressure and accepts standard 4.5" x 10" prefilter cartridges. Fiberglass reinforced membrane housings provide superior chemical resistance across varied source water conditions. The integrated tank level and pretreatment interlock inputs allow for automated operation within larger water treatment frameworks.
